RC Greens now taking orders for whole, half or quarters of grass fed beef grown in our pastures.

Our live weight finishing beef run about 1200 to 1300 pounds.

We give purchasers a 30 day notice when our beef is just about ready for the butcher. A whole cow purchase will be ready to go at that time. For someone purchasing a half or a quarter we will match up customers for the purchase of the whole cow before release. Customers purchasing a quarter side will split the half to assure each customer gets a portion of the front and rear cut. 

We have 100 percent grass fed and finished beef. All our cows are on a rotational grazing system to take pressure off the pastures and provide fresh feed to the cows.

About us...

We are regenerative farmers. Basically, that means we are farming to improve our pastures. We also do this with our planting beds where we plant our fruit trees and vegetables.

We have multiple pastures that allow us to rotate the cattle for better grazing on fresh grass. We’re in the process of cross fencing our larger pastures to improve our rotation grazing. This gives the grasses time to recover. In turn, the cattle fertilize the fields to help grow the pasture grass. 

We have approximately 1900 acres of pasture. We grow around 250 acres of hay on a rotational basis. We are working this year to get two cuts from the dairy pastures.
